What is a Science Fair?
A science fair is a great opportunity for students to learn about the scientific method, and cool new facts. Students are responsible to design and create an experiment that tries to answer a scientific question.
The Jack Hulland Science Fair is taking place on Wednesday, February 10th. Students from the intermediate grades will be displaying and presenting their experiments and research projects to the school, and will be judged on their work.
That evening, the students and parents involved will be invited back to the school for a science night. There will be science activities and the results from the Science Fair will be announced.

What is the Scientific Method?
What should my experiment write up look like?
What should my display look like?
Check out the information in the following document. It describes the steps involved in completing a successful experiment. It outlines the different parts of the Scientific Method, and what is required in an experiment write-up. The last part of the document describes the requirements in a Science Fair display. Remember that both a report (experiment write-up) and a display are required for the Science Fair.
